Car Show July 19th
The Waynesville Annual Car Show returns Sunday, July 19th 2026 from 9 AM to 1 PM, bringing that old fashioned charm back to downtown. Main Street will be lined with vintage rides, friendly faces, and the sweet sounds of summertime. Start your morning with hot coffee and fresh donuts as you take in rows of beautifully restored classics. From shiny chrome to well loved patina, there’s something for every car lover and plenty of hometown cheer to go around.
And when the engines quiet down, stick around and shop our local stores. You’ll find treasures, treats, and plenty of small town hospitality.
Early Registration for 2026! Entry is just $20, with seven judging categories, including Best in Show. Register online or at the gate starting at 9 AM (space permitting).

- Resto-modes
- People’s Choice
Each car will receive a “Dash Plaque “.
Trophies will be awarded in five categories.

This event is presented by the Waynesville Merchants Association.
Visitor and Vendor Information:
- This is not a vendor event. We are not accepting vendors and will never ask for payment or personal information through comments or messenger.
- $20 Registration is required for vehicles/motorcycles in car show. We only accept registration through our website or at the gate on the day the event (space permitting).

- Parking in downtown Waynesville is easy and convenient. You will find on street parking throughout the area as well as a lot at North Street and Main Street across from the bank. If you are dining at Village Family Restaurant or Stone House Tavern, they also offer parking for their guests.
- Road closures- Main Street will be closed between Miami Street & North Street for the safety of our guests
- There are plenty of benches throughout downtown, perfect for taking a moment to pause and take it all in.
- Public Restrooms are located at 86 S Main Street, between Lottie Mae’s Cottage & Wendy’s Treasures.
