The Peddler House
Established in 2003, The Peddler House is a welcoming gift and home décor shop located in a historic 1903 farmhouse in Downtown Waynesville. For more than 20 years, each room of the home has been thoughtfully filled with curated selections designed to inspire, delight, and bring seasonal charm into every space.
Shoppers will find a wide variety of home décor, giftware, ladies accessories, jewelry, and seasonal items, along with carefully selected brands including Mud Pie, Creative Co Op, Old World Christmas, Candleberry Candles, Demdaco, Fontanini, White Mountain Puzzles, Leanin’ Tree cards, Lori Mitchell figures, Sharon Nowlan Stone Art, Kitras Art Glass Window Orbs, Myra and Spartina bags, and more. Additional offerings include men’s fragrance, jewelry, handmade pottery from English Country Pottery in Michigan, and leather bell straps made in Ohio.
The shop also features a dedicated children’s area, pet themed gifts for dogs and cats, kitchen and garden items, seasonal décor, and floral accents that change throughout the year to reflect the seasons.
Behind the main shop, guests can explore “Ed’s Shed,” a historic outbuilding from the original farm property, now used as a special sale space filled with overstock, out of season items, and one of a kind bargains.
As a small, locally rooted business, The Peddler House places a strong focus on customer connection and community. Inventory is always changing, offering something new with every visit and a warm welcome for every guest.
