Night of Poe

Waynesville Night of Poe event was held on Saturday Night January 27th from 3:00 to 8:00 and a great time was had by all. Despite a little rain and some fog that helped with the mood, the village was full of folks, many in period costumes. The scavenger hunt was a great event and many of the folks got around to all of the shops that were open late to discover the hidden treasure. Some of the shops and the host – Hammel House had poem readers that entertained the guests along with Poe himself for photo opportunities. Below are just a few of the photos of the event which we are anxious to have again next year. Thanks go out to the Hammel House staff for hosting the event and the WMA Association events team for pulling of a great evening of family fun.

Waynesville, Ohio

Waynesville is ready to welcome you with small town charm and some of the most unique finds in the country. Wander through Main Street, High Street, Miami Street, and Scioto Square where each shop and cafe feels like a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Just beyond the village center, Route 73 offers even more local favorites, each one adding its own touch to the Waynesville story. It is the kind of place where every visit feels easy, every corner holds something special, and every moment lingers just a little longer.
