Hearthwarming Holidays November 5th
Kick off the holiday season this year by joining us in Downtown Waynesville for Hearth Warming Holidays!
NOVEMBER 5, 6, 7, 2021.
Discover that unique gift, shop for fabulous decorating ideas and join us for the festivities in over 50 shops, galleries, and restaurants.
Our specialty shops are fully stocked with the newest in exciting holiday merchandise, our antique stores are ready for you to discover that undiscovered great “find”, the galleries are filled with new artwork and unique artisan designs…..and our quaint and lively restaurants are ready to welcome you with delicious, mouth-watering menu choices. All are decorated to the hilt and are ready for you and for the start of the holiday season.
Hearth Warming Holidays has particularly become a favorite as a “girls shopping weekend”, bringing groups of friends together to meet in Waynesville for a day, or two, or three, of holiday shopping and eating—and year after year, they renew their plans to make it “their girls weekend”.
It’s also become a favorite weekend for mothers and daughters, aunts, cousins and nieces to share — to shop for gifts and to enjoy some special time together before the rush of the holidays set in! Come just for the day or make it a weekend and stay overnight at the charming and historic Hammel House Inn, or enjoy the down-home comfort of the Creekwood Motel—Both are within walking distance of all the festivities.
This year participating shops will be offering a guessing game for visitors! Guess the number of items in each shop’s fun filled jar. Whoever guesses the correct amount in the jar wins a prize from that shop. Then, all the winners will be included in another drawing for the grand Waynesville Merchants Association prize. You in? ENJOY A CHANCE TO WIN IN OUR GUESS THE AMOUNT IN THE JAR CONTEST at PARTICIPATING SHOPS!
Participating shops will have a jar filled with something fun and visitors will guess the number of objects in the jar. Whoever guesses the correct number in a shop’s jar will win the prize offered by that store. After the event, all entries from all the guessing jars will be added together for a grand prize winner drawn from all the shop entries. Sound like fun?
